trackajob is a mobile and online platform designed to simplify timesheet management for tradespeople. Whether you’re a solo trader or part of a small team, trackajob makes timesheets effortless. So simple, that teams actually complete them. By removing the hassle of chasing paperwork, the app empowers businesses to focus on what matters most, increasing profits and growing their trade.
Branding
Our challenge was to craft a brand identity that reflected trackajob’s innovative, tech-driven solution while remaining approachable to its audience of tradespeople. The app’s detailed insights demanded a customer-facing brand with equal precision and polish. We developed a modernised logo supported by deep green tones, layered gradients, and overlays to create depth and sophistication. To balance the technical edge, we introduced playful iconography and illustration, ensuring the brand could tell stories with warmth and relatability.
Web design & build
We designed and developed a website that seamlessly extended the new brand identity into the digital space. Gradients and a dark theme established a contemporary, tech-focused aesthetic, while glass-like opacities added dimensionality to content areas. Product demonstrations were central to the site, helping users quickly understand the tool’s value. This was paired with a narrative-driven approach, ensuring the brand’s story was communicated as clearly as its functionality.
App design
Consistency across platforms was key. We carried the branding through to in-app assets and marketing collateral, including App Store materials. Gradients and circular motifs created a unified design language, delivering a joined-up experience across marketing and product journeys. To elevate usability, we introduced micro-animations that added depth and delight to the app interface, reinforcing the brand’s modern and intuitive feel.
Animation & video
To bring the brand to life, we produced a suite of story-driven videos featuring Founder and Ambassador Simon Bowler as the face of the business. These videos provided engaging content for both the website and paid media campaigns, guiding new users through the platform with clarity and authenticity. Alongside these, we created playful short-form videos designed as quick-fire guides, giving existing users accessible tips on how to get the most out of trackajob.
